Denmark Library Overview
Designed by McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, the 22,504 square foot building will feature nature-inspired design elements to complement the panoramic views of the 9.5 acre lot. Construction is expected to be completed in late 2024 or early 2025 by Albion General Contractors, Inc.

Special Features of the Denmark Library Design
- Denmark Library will be the first library in the county with a drive-up window for retrieving holds. This is intended to provide maximum convenience and accessibility for patrons.
- Denmark will have more study rooms (6) than any other library in Forsyth County.
- Denmark Library will have a partitionable 2,611 square foot meeting room that can be used for library programs or reserved by the public.
- Denmark will feature 75,000 books and materials in a variety of languages tailored to the residents of Forsyth County.
- Denmark Library will include a 412 square foot quiet room that is perfect for reading or studying.
- Denmark will be the first library in the county to offer smaller study rooms designed for 1–2 people, perfect for remote personal working spaces.
